WINNO'S WINNERS: FLEMINGTON, NOVEMBER 7, 2026
By Darren Winningham | Friday, November 6, 2026
CHAMPIONS DAY at FLEMINGTON!
Nine races on the program, with the day featuring three consecutive Group 1 races! A great day of racing. The track is rated 'GOOD'. The rail is out 9m for the entire track. There is rain forecast for Saturday.
The Melbourne Cup winners – Ethan Brown and Ciaron Maher, who became the first trainer to saddle the Cup trifecta. I did pose the question pre-race as to whether Maher could send out the trifecta. Then Oaks Day – an amazing performance by David Payne and Zac Lloyd, who won his first Group 1 in Victoria!
NB: As these selections were made prior to race-day, please check for any changes to track conditions and for any scratchings on the day.
