WINNO'S WINNERS: DOOMBEN, MARCH 30, 2024

By Darren Winningham | Friday, March 29, 2024

DOOMBEN this week. The track is rated ‘Heavy’ and the rail is out for 1 metre for the entire circuit.

They are forecasting more rain in the lead up to the meeting. Eagle Farm was abandoned on Wednesday – if the rain continues – I hold grave fears for this meeting.

With that in mind and not knowing how many horses will be scratched I will keep it brief this week.

It is Easter Weekend as well – have a safe weekend – be careful on the roads and eat plenty of chocolate on the weekend!

NB: As these selections were made prior to race-day, please check for any changes to track conditions and for any scratchings on the day.

Jockeys Challenge

Looks like a battle between the females who have been dominating in recent weeks. This week watch out for Sam Collett, Angela Jones and Cejay Graham. The boys must be considered as well with Damien Thornton having a solid book of rides. I reckon it may be between Angela and Sam.

Early Quaddie (races 3 to 6)

4,5,10,15 / 3,4,10 / 1,2,10 / 5,8,11 - cost is $108 to $1.

4,6,8,13 / 2,3,14,17 / 8,9,10 / 4,7,12,19 - cost is $192 to $1

Value Quaddie (races 7 to 10)

Treble (races 8 to 10)

2,3,14,17 / 8,9,10 / 4,7,12,19 - cost is $48 to $1.

WINNO V FLEMO

The battle will continue with WINNO and FLEMO. He has been having a spell with a little set back. After a break he normally comes back with vengeance. Be sure to check the up to date and amended tips each Saturday morning on Facebook after any track changes and scratchings where I will post our selections and any late mail!

HAPPY EASTER enjoy your long weekend.
