Race 8

Class 6 Plate over 1200 metres – a tough race to assess.
Adam Campton runner Deepour (1) was a victim of circumstances in the Grafton Ramornie where there was no speed. Look for him to be powering home late with Jimmy Orman in the saddle.

Black On Beauty (14), trained by Tony Gollan, will lead this lot. Always jumps well and will roll forward – that puts the pace in the race for Deepour (1), however, will the weight difference of 8 kilograms tell late – Angela Jones will ride this mare.

Selections:

1 – Deepour
14 – Black On Beauty
5 – Arentee
6 – Hatchet
Rough chance – (13) Coco Rox

Race 9

The last race of the day – a massive field over 1400 metres.

7 – Hot Spring Gold
Rough chance – (10) Fleetwood Maca & (4) Palladas
