Racing returns to Rosehill this week after the Championships at Randwick. It could be tough finding winners. Caution when launching into this program.
Race 1
Reincarnate (3) coming off a nice win at Warwick Farm is the one to beat. Wudang Mountain (2) should fill the quinella and exacta.

Race 2
The favourites look hard to beat here, those being Impending (4) and Gretna (7) and if you like them make sure you hook in. I am going for a $31 chance, Redouble (5) from the Hawkes yard who I think may run a cheeky race. I wish it had drawn a better barrier – something on it each way could see you with a nice result.

Race 3
A really bad staying race here. Rhodin Drive (5) is the best of an average lot.

Race 4
Looks like a race in two. Oh So Unfair (2) was great last start drawing wide and winning impressively at Wagga. Galaxy Warrior (1) is listed as favourite and is sure to be the hardest to beat. Maybe quinella them both and get a nice dividend.

Race 5
A good race – just box my first three selections in the trifecta for a win!
Chandana (8) has been consistent lately and will prove hard to beat here. Falkenberg (9) and Imposing Lass (10) are the best of the rest.

Race 6
Tremezzina (6) has been running in some good class races of late and this is a massive drop back to a Benchmark 78 class. I like the filly to win the race. Gai Waterhouse trains Sort After (10) and it has been impressive in the two runs back from a spell. It should race handy and if horses on the speed are winning it will be the one to be on.

Race 7
His Majesty (9) ran 3rd in the recent Provincial Championships series at Randwick. I think I did tip it last start when it drew barrier 18 and came into the race well. This week from barrier 8 and Brenton Avdulla on board I am hoping it gets a nice run and brains them in the straight. Himalaya Dream (4) has been running well in Melbourne and should be ridden in the lead. Apprentice James Innes and his three kilogram claim may make it hard to run down in the straight.

Race 8
Zedfast (14) ran at Doomben last start. Tailed off and came wide and ended up running fourth. It actually helped me in selecting the first four in that race! This week I believe it will be ridden quietly from the wide barrier again and I am hoping Jason Collett can find that fast lane out wide at Rosehill late in the day to get it home! Hetty Heights (7) is another horse that I tipped in the Provincial Championships last start at Randwick. It ran a credible sixth so I must keep it in again this week. Well Hardley Ever (11), owned by renowned talk back radio commentator Ray Hadley, and trained by Clarry Conners is another good chance in the race. It has been the subject of a betting plunge from $31 earlier in the week to $4.

Race 9
Mogador (10) could bookend the day for the winning Godolphin team and James McDonald. Glenbawn Dane (6) was impressive with the recent hit and run win at Doomben. Princefamous (2) has won a recent barrier trial at Randwick and is undefeated in both starts from a spell. A good open race to end the day.
Selections 10-6-2-4 - rough chance 8.
