RACE 1:

Little between UNO FIVE (4) and VOLKHERE (1) on their last encounter a fortnight ago when VOLKHERE out kicked UNO FIVE. A slight difference in the weights could see the tables turned. Best of the others is likely leader HUDSON COUNTY (3) who had every hope behind the other pair. Rough chances 2 and 5.

RACE 2:

GREYT START (5) was ultra impressive in his debut win in Toowoomba and was immediately tipped out after scoring by nearly eight. I'll be keeping a careful look on him in the enclosure and monitor the betting trends. There is insufficient data for me, particularly with first starter JUST ORM to make a proper assessment.

RACE 3:

ROYAL TITHE (8) was responsible for an excellent debut in a strong race here last Saturday. Drops 3kg, well drawn and slightly extra distance suits. CANDIKA (4) was good on debut in late October and will produce a good finish while EMTEEVEE QUEEN (1) has to be considered on her latest city win. Rough chances 2, 3 and 9.

RACE 4:

Strong race with several winning hopes. HONEY HOLT (9) produced a brilliant finish off a slow tempo at this track and trip a fortnight ago. Harder now but selected again. SHEISWHATSHEIS (5) stopped badly at the mile here a fortnight ago but she is better than that. Back in distance is a plus. DANSOLEI (8) was fairly arrogant in a 1st-up midweek win here and is certainly up to this tougher assignment. Winning chances don't end there. Rough chances 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 10.

RACE 5:

There was plenty of money to suggest MARTIAL ART (1) would win 1st up in a midweek assignment here and he weaved a passage to win impressively at only start number four. Straight up to the mile but Browne stays on and he should be fitter. DONT DENY US (2) ran well here at 1350m last run and secures a good run from the near inside alley. Mile also suits. CHARCUTERIE (2) will be running on. Rough chances 7 and 9.

RACE 6:

Keen on UMGENI (7). Impressive 1st-up win at GC and has always given the impression he would make city grade. Maps to secure a good run off a strong tempo and Williams booking is a bonus. PROFILER (1) will run well on latest Dbn second. MAXIMILIAN (6) is a newcomer to the Gollan stable who is worth respecting. Rough chances 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 13.

RACE 7:

Wide open with 10 winning chances. BIG DECISION (6) always runs well 2nd up and gets good run off a strong tempo. Something small both totes in a tough affair. MISHANI STEALTH (2) will be a significant improver at his 4th run back. Drawn well with Stewart. STORM FIGHTER (8) keeps running honestly. Rough chances 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 and 11.

RACE 8:

Hard. Going to take a gamble that HEZA BOBBY DAZZLER (3) can win 1st-up. Didn’t fire in 3 runs last preparation but is a lot better than that. Recent easy Deagon trial win. LONDEHERO (7) has gone well past 2 Sydney runs and he will be the best finisher off a strong tempo. GUN CASE (14) has been kept fresh since a soft win 1st-up at Kilcoy and will also appreciate the speed of the race. Rough chances 2, 4, 6, 10, 14 and 15.

RACE 9:

Terrific race and many chances. WORTHY CAUSE (2) performed well in Melbourne during Spring and has been freshened for this. Secures a good run from the gate. HOPFGARTEN (1) is drawn inside of TRAVESTON GIRL for this and was brave in the Brisbane Handicap. FELTRE (10) is a value hope off the rails, gets a soft run behind the leaders. Winning chances don't end there. Rough chances 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 14.

RACE 10:

COMACINA (2) has run well at his past 2 runs at this track and trip and gets the chance to be rewarded for his consistency in this line up. Well drawn and Brad Stewart to ride. MERCURIAN (4) is the obvious danger after a tough 2nd here at 1350m a fortnight ago. Has won up to 1480 and maps well. GLENDARA (1) is highly consistent but has the wrong barrier. Rough chances 3, 6, 8 and 13.

BEST BET: ROYAL TITHE (race 3).

BEST EACHWAY: UMGENI (race 6).

BEST ROUGHIE: FELTRE (race 9).

QUADRELLA: 2, 6, 8, 10 / 3, 7, 14 / 1, 2, 10, 12 / 1, 2, 4, 13.
