Form assessed for a good 3.

RACE 1:

MISS BELLA ROSA (9) was an encouraging 5th on debut EF 1000m and 1200m looks ideal. Improver. STROAK (3) did everything right in debut 1020m win here mid-Oct but short enough in fixed odds markets. Couldn't entertain anything else although 2 is unknown (no trial).

RACE 2:

ROCKY KING (2) is ideally drawn to bounce to lead and go from barrier to box at his favourite trip. Surprised he isn't favourite so fixed odds around $3.6 look OK. Save on MR FAVULOUS (3) who is drawn to get a good run and will be competitive. SEEK AND FIND (1) is a 6-time winner this track and will take improvement from 1st-up run. Rough chances 6 and 7.

RACE 3:

CATALONIA (5) is a good bet each-way around $7 fixed on her latest sound 4th EF. Finished just behind MALING (2) and VOLKHERE (1) who will run well again. Rough chances 3, 4 and 13.

RACE 4:

MISSY LONGSTOCKING (1) should park outside leader and dictate speed and, ultimately, result. Short odds ($1.8) but deserves to be. Can't fault ENQUARE (2) and SPLENDORA (5). Both are in-form and extra smart but average tempo may play against them. Rough chances 3 and 8.

RACE 5:

MISS HUSSON (10) has been crying out for a mile and gets her chance today and the good barrier is an asset. Outstanding GC 4th last start. FLAMBOYER (3) and PADRINO (4) both ran well at EF 2 weeks ago. On-pacers who will be competitive again. Rough chances 7, 8, 9 and 11.

RACE 6:

THE WHITE HOPE (7) was excellent 1st-up but today gets his chance to lead and control speed. Looks hard to beat as capable of running smart time. Stablemate CONGO (6) should run well but 42 days between runs is a little concern. TWIN ZERO (10) has a good finish and is a value hope. Rough chances 4, 5, 8, 13 and 15.

RACE 7:

BENNYS BUTTONS (5) was terrific 1st-up behind Better Than Ready and gets a perfect trip from barrier 5. Should be foolproof around $5.5 fixed. MORNING CAPTAIN (3) was an inch behind BENNYS BUTTONS and doesn't know how to run a bad race. Races on pace. LUCKY HUSSLER (17) is 1st-up but is very talented and will flash late. Rough chances 1, 2, 6, 10, 12, 13, 15 and 16.

RACE 8:

LOVE ROCKS (10) is a certainty on his latest EF 1200m win when ran 1:08.8. Carries basically same weight and this field is easier. Stand out. QFIGHTER (7) will give him a big start but appeals as the likely quinella result. COMAHNI (17) gets an easy run on fence and has a place prospect. Rough chances 11, 12 and 13.

BEST BET: LOVE ROCKS (race 8).

BEST EACHWAY: CATALONIA (race 3).

BEST ROUGHIE: LUCKY HUSSLER (race 7).

QUADRELLA: 3, 4, 7, 9, 10 / 7 / 1, 3, 5, 15, 17 / 10.
