Form assessed for a good 3.

RACE 1:

DOUBLE IMPACT (2) gets a trouble-free passage to the lead and very hard to beat on track/trip win 2 weeks ago when posted strong figures. Can't fault FERMENT's (3) past 2 wins while GREY ASSIGNMENT (1) won 3rd-up last campaign and claim assists. No rough chances.

RACE 2:

SECRET HARMONY (1) stands out here with the claim and form better than rivals. TREASURE MAP (2) can provide the quinella result but was 2.3l behind Secret Harmony last time they met. TORNADO MISS (6) is an improving type. Rough chances 3 and 5.

RACE 3:

MUKADDAMAH SON (1) has had the 2 runs back and goes to 2120m ready to win. D.Browne is a plus for this horse. RAEBURN (3) will be the hardest to beat after solid 2nd here last start while ESCOFFIER (7) gets weight off that pair but should have won locally by now. Rough chance 2.

RACE 4:

CUDDLESOME (4) is a smart mare who hasn't run for 5 weeks but will position close to pace and be hard to beat. MY SHABELLA (8) ran home well D'bn 2nd 1110m 2 weeks ago and back against own sex. JACQUETTA (7) is running well at midweeks and can measure up to a top 3 position here. Rough chances 1, 6 and 10.

RACE 5:

D'JET (1) appeals strongly after good 1st-up 2nd and rails gate. ROYAL SHOUT (9) doesn't win out of turn but Ipswich win was impressive while SHAZZLE PAZZLE (12) was unlucky at D'bn but this is a harder race. Rough chances 2, 7 and 11.

RACE 6:

Good class 6. MISHANI WARRIOR (3) produced a spectacular track and trip win 5 weeks ago and hard to beat again. REGULAR (12) will get a good run this draw and past 2 D'bn runs have been terrific. VOLKHERE (8) is above-average, good fresh, and trialled impressively. Rough chances 2, 6 and 11.


RACE 7:

Even field. Like SQUARE UP (6) at $11 fixed. Steadily building on fitness and gets a good run from rails gate. MR TESTA (2) worked hard latest D'bn 6th but better suited now this more favourable alley. GOT UNDERS (10) is lightly-raced and above-average and will be well ridden. Rough chances 1, 4, 7, 8 and 13.

RACE 8:

Even field. DEB'S HOPE (9) appeals each-way fixed at $8. Good tempo suits him and latest track and trip 2nd was excellent pointer for this. THE STOREMAN (6) will race on pace and be competitive but a strong 1200m is a slight concern. MISS BRADBURY (4) has been freshened and will hit line hard. Rough chances 2, 11, 12 and 16.

BEST BET: SECRET HARMONY (Race 2).

BEST EACHWAY: DEB'S HOPE (Race 8).

BEST ROUGHIE: SQAURE UP (Race 7).

QUADRELLA: 1, 7, 9, 12 / 3, 8, 11, 12 / 1, 2, 6, 10, 13 / 4, 6, 9, 12, 16.
