DECISION MADE: ANTINO TO BE SENT FOR A SPELL

Trainer Tony Gollan has confirmed this morning that the decision has been made to send Antino for a spell following his disappointing performance in the Cox Plate.

The Gollan Racing media release also confirmed that a series of X-rays and tests were undertaken on Antino this week with no abnormalities being detected.

However, the decision to spell Antino was made with his longevity in mind and the thirteen-time winner, with over $3 million banked in prize-money, will now be set for an Autumn campaign.
