GOLD COAST – an eight-race meeting. The track is rated ‘Soft’. The rail is out 8 metres from the 1000 metres to the winning post and then 6 metres the rest of the course. Leaders have been normally the way to go here in recent months.
The Gold Coast Turf Club is hosting the FAMILY FUN DAY – a massive day with free entry! Families and children everywhere with a massive program of things to keep the children (yes even the big ones) active from 10am. The Village RoadShow group are supporting the race day with their characters being present amongst other rides and activities!
I will be here – I think I will wear a striking top to celebrate the occasion.

Looks like a close contest between Ryan Wiggins, Michael Hellyer, Anthony Allen, Matthew Palmer and Karl Zechner. Maybe a slight edge to Anthony Allen to win.
WINNO V GIBBO
I will take on the resident Gold Coast tipster Blair “Gibbo” Gibson this weekend. He is a good sport – I think many moons ago I got the better of him by sending him off in a game of rugby league. In saying that he will be looking for a victory on his home turf!
