THANKS TO THE HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB AND THEIR WONDERFUL MEDIA TEAM

In 2025 I returned for my eighth FWD Champions Day experience.

HorseRacingOnly (HRO) Australia was granted media accreditation again by the progressive Hong Kong Jockey Club. I would like to express our sincere thanks for the continued invitations along with the official media accreditation which allows HorseRacingOnly (HRO) the opportunity to provide extensive, original coverage of the FWD Champions Day.

When this year's coverage is finalised horseracingonly.com.au will have posted more than twenty independent stories, over three hundred photographs, fifty or more posts in social media and over twenty video interviews with jockeys, trainers and owners.

It was a substantial work effort in sourcing and producing all the above with full credit also going to the backroom team who made sure the stories and photos were used to their best advantage on the HorseRacingOnly (HRO) website.

Special thanks to Larry for ensuring WINNO stayed out of trouble and managed to access the best photo opportunities for the Australian followers.

Lastly, thanks to Priscilla, Cecilia, Bearbi, and Henry for their efforts at the HKIR Media Centre at the Renaissance Harbourview Hotel and at the track for their amazing support and ensuring that we were always up to date with the most accurate information.

As I have said many times before … and nothing has changed … the HKJC media team is second to none. They are only too happy to assist and make sure the best coverage of the FWD Champions Day is achieved.

One last offering of advice from me, WINNO, to a member of the HKJC media team who occasionally struggled to get to her room in the lift. You see you must scan your room key to get access to your floor in the lift – please ensure it is your room key and not your OCTOPUS card!
